Hopefully you've heard about the upcoming
barcamp for real estate being organized to take place one day ahead of the upcoming
Inman Connect conference in San Francisco on July 22. REBarcamp 08.
Andy Kaufman, an agent with KW in the E. Bay area of S.F. originated the idea and announced during Daniel Rothamel's (Chico) "
ZebraTalk" session last week. In a testament to the power of social networking, within a couple of short days we have been able to garner 11 sponsors, several
blog posts,
a new blog, a
facebook group with 55 members already and much more.
If you're unfamiliar with the concept of "unconferences" and barcamp, I encourage you to visit
barcamp.org to see how people across the world have implemented it. After you're up to speed visit the official
REBarcamp Wiki page and then jump over to facebook and join the
group and
event and become a part of the first barcamp dedicated to real estate and real estate technology. It should be a wealth of great information and the party at days end will definitely be one the highlights to your trip to S.F. See you there!
