The Coffee Table of The Future

Microsoft spends billions to acquire an ad agency and the best name they can come up with for their new coffee table computer is.... Surface. I watched yesterday as Bill Gates, in dramatic fashion, walks down what looks like a secret hallway in the basement of bad 50's sci-fi movie with a Today show reporter to unveil the 5 year secret mission of their new computer. Just be careful not to set your coffee and your credit card on it at the same time. With MS' security track record you might just end buying a Starbucks franchise instead of a cup of Joe. I was totally mesmerized at the stunning demonstration of finger paints and tic-tac-toe. Kidding aside, it was pretty cool stuff and it does give a good glimpse into the future of computing interface design.
